Why metro access is one of Brigade Arcot Road's biggest strengths.
Vadapalani Metro Station is on Chennai Metro's Green Line, which runs from Chennai Central through Koyambedu, Vadapalani, Ashok Nagar and Alandur to St. Thomas Mount. Brigade Arcot Road is located in the Arcot Road–Vadapalani area served by this station, making it one of the few new premium gated projects with an operating metro station in the neighbourhood.
Chennai Metro Phase 2 Corridor 4 (Lighthouse–Poonamallee) is being built along Arcot Road, with Vadapalani planned as an interchange with the Green Line. Once fully open, it should link the area east to Kodambakkam and Mylapore and west to Porur and Poonamallee. Check CMRL for which sections are operational. See Metro Phase 2 guide.
Metro access cuts dependence on Arcot Road traffic, widens your job radius and supports rental demand from working professionals. See rental income guide.
The exact distance from the project gate to the station depends on the final site entrance, which Brigade has not published. Walk the route yourself before buying. Hindi readers can see metro station kitni door hai.
