Ashok Nagar, just south of Vadapalani along the 100 Feet Road, is a sought-after family neighbourhood with schools, parks and its own Green Line metro station. Like most of central West Chennai, it has little land for large new projects. Brigade Arcot Road in neighbouring Vadapalani offers Ashok Nagar families a nearby gated option.
